    When we bought this house back in 2009 we were newly married, had no kids, and all the energy in the world to take on a bit of a project. When we first visited the property we saw a lot of potential, and we were at a stage in our lives where we were prepared to do the work and renovate it to make it our own. We were even able to look past the wall-to-wall purple carpets in the bathroom! What won us over when we first walked in was all the natural light from the many large windows and skylights. If anything, this home is bright and inviting. The cathedral ceilings in the living room also add to that open and spacious feeling. But besides the potential we saw on the inside of the house, what really attracted us was the location. Old Forest is one of those ideal family-friendly streets that you simply can't find anywhere else. There is very little traffic and the house backs onto a wooded green space, which is not only scenic, but also extremely private. Timberlea is a unique area that shares a special connection with nature. We've had deer find their way into our backyard on a few occasions, and yet we are just minutes away from highway access, movie theatres, shopping malls, and schools. The time has finally come for us to make a change. As our family continues to grow, we feel the need for more space and a bigger house. We hope that whoever buys this home will appreciate all of the quality and care we put into it and that a new chapter can be begin within these walls. Hopefully it will be for a young couple or a young family like ours - who will truly benefit from all the positive energy and warmth this house has to offer.
